The term "therapeutic massgae" is convenient because what a therapeutic massage is depends entirely upon the client: is a good massage for you a gentle one or a firm pressure one? Maybe you prefer a mix of both depending upon the area being worked. My tendency is to use a variety of techniques that I've learned over the years to give you a massage that makes you feel good, whether that means light pressure or deep pressure.
